Loktin and I hired Lorraine for her full planning coordination services about 18 months prior to the wedding. We knew very little about the planning process and hiring Lorraine was the right decision. Lorraine explained the process and created a tentative timeline and budget for us. She researched and presented us with a list of vendors to look at based on our needs. As we had to travel from outside the GTA, she planned our venue visits and vendor meetings. With Lorraine accompanying us to some of the meetings, she was able to ask questions for us that we otherwise wouldn’t know to ask. Lorraine maintained good relations with various vendors and was able to negotiate on our behalf to find budget-friendly options.
We truly appreciated Lorraine for being on top of things, maintaining communication, and keeping us on track. She was quick to respond to our questions and provided us with her honest opinions. Planning a wedding can be a taxing experience and we think that Lorraine made it more enjoyable and less stressful. She stepped in to help us make some final decisions and proposed solutions when we were indecisive (e.g., setting a stage for the ceremony).
As a bride-to-be, I felt bombarded by questions from my bridal party a couple of weeks before the big day. I told Lorraine that I was stressed and Lorraine asked the bridal party and groomsmen to direct all questions to her. I felt that I could rely on her to manage the finer details while we focused on completing final tasks and taking care of ourselves.
On the day of the wedding, Lorraine coordinated everything and adjusted the schedule and plan on the fly. She was flexible when the Door Games and Chinese Tea Ceremony ran longer than planned. She also made a back-up plan for photos when hair and makeup took longer than expected.
Lorraine is a detail-oriented and hands-on professional. You can trust her to take charge and handle unexpected wedding day problems. Loktin and I are happy to recommend Lorraine for wedding planning."

Thank you Lorraine for making our wedding so memorable! I knew I was in great hands as Lorraine is extremely knowledgeable in weddings with over 3 years of experience in the industry. She is extremely professional, detailed oriented and organized. She was always ahead of us to ensure we had what we needed with the vendors and kept us on track through out the wedding planning process.I was really concerned with the timing as my wedding fell on Caribana long weekend, my ceremony was in Mississauga and my venue was in downtown Toronto. Even months before the wedding, just thinking of the logistical traffic nightmare gave me a instant stress and headache! As you may know Chinese weddings are not easy to plan especially with various time considerations due to pre ceremony activities- door games and tea ceremony- but Thank goodness for Lorraine as she provided great guidance on the schedule and recommendation on timing. Once I brought up a concern, she was very quick and responsive and was able to provide various options and solutions. The day of, I was never bothered with any little detail or issue because Lorraine took care of everything. Knowing she had everything under control made my life easier and allowed us to enjoy our special day with zero stress. We have received so much positive feedback on our wedding and I have to thank Lorraine for such great planning!

Not only does Lorraine have countless years of experience in the wedding industry, but her compassion and care towards us really helped us keep calm and collected throughout the wedding planning process.
She was always quick to initiate personal meetings with us, and was always willing to go out of her way to ensure all the fun and quirky personal touches were included in our wedding. Lorraine’s dependability is seen through her prompt arrival at all of our meetings. And she was even willing to go above and beyond the call of duty by taking the extra time out of her schedule to come to our wedding rehearsal; especially when we made the mistake of informing her last minute. Even though there were a lot of details we may have forgotten or did not foresee in the wedding planning process, Lorraine had all the bases covered so that none of the mistakes in our planning were even noticeable to our guests. We were especially worried that we wouldn’t have enough time in our original schedule to do everything we wanted (photos with all friends and family members, Chinese tea ceremony, speeches, and special games and activities). However, Lorraine was easily able to modify and adapt the schedule on the fly; even when most of our guests arrived 1 hour late because of an unforeseen closure to all the major highways on our wedding day!
Overall, all of our family and friends have said that our wedding was one of the most touching and memorable events they have ever attended. And we are really thankful that God blessed us with such a kind, supportive, and encouraging wedding planner who walked us through each and every step of our wedding planning process.
